Five effective Yoga Asana by Ramdev - Following asana introduced by Swami Ram Dev work wonders in getting relief from back pain:

Bhujangasana – Those suffering from pain in their back may follow the under mentioned steps:

Keep your head resting on the chin while lying down on the floor by putting your entire weight on the belly.  The hands should be placed by the side of the body so that the palms rest on the ground. The upper body may be lifted while the chest should remain off the floor. Upper body may be bent backwards and one should look upwards at the same time. Eyes must be closed and the body should be put to rest. Known as the cobra or snake pose; Bhujangasana is the most effective Ramdev Yoga for Back Pain
Persons suffering from pain in the lower back or upper back are greatly benefited with this pose.

Bitilasana – Look straight while your body may be placed in a tabletop position on the ground. The chin may be raised upwards so that the head remains in a tilt position upwards. The stomach and navel must be pushed downwards. The tailbone buttocks may be lifted upwards at the same time. Pain in the lower back can be lowered with this yoga asana.

Kandharasana – Following steps may be followed:

The hands may be placed by the side of one’s body while the person should lid down on the floor on his or her back. Legs must be kept in a straight position. Feet may be placed on the floor by folding the legs from the knees. Upper body may be lifted up off the floor while exhaling and feet may be held with the hands for support followed by relaxation.

Majariasana – The body may be placed in a tabletop position on the ground while looking straight. The head may be bent downwards by tilting. Upper back may be lifted and shoulders may be stretched towards the ceiling. Hands should also be kept in a stretch position and not removed from the ground. The body must be kept in a steady position followed by relaxing. Those suffering from pain in the upper back are benefited with this yoga asana.

Pavanmuktasana – Back pain can be got rid of with this Ramdev Yoga for Back Pain that may be performed as under:

One should lie down on the floor and the entire body weight may be put on the back. Both legs should be placed together on the ground. Hands may be kept on the floor in resting position beside the body while the palms may face downwards. The left leg may be lifted upwards at an angle of ninety degrees. It may be folded from the knee and placed on the stomach. The hands may be interlocked while left leg may be pressed firmly on the floor. The head may be lifted a little by touching the forehead to the left knee. Other leg may be kept in a straight position, followed by releasing. The same activity may be repeated with the right leg followed by relaxing. Both types of back pains, i.e. the lower or the upper can be managed well with this yoga asana.
